The Jewish Academy believes that Jewish education is strengthened when institutions work together. Therefore, we develop tailored programs for schools, congregations, and community organizations that wish to broaden and deepen the Jewish education of their audiences.
Our collaboration with partners is organized across different fronts: Judaism courses for school communities (teachers, administrators, and families), continuing education for educators, on-demand content for educational platforms, and thematic programs centered around Judaism, Israel, and the Jewish Nation. All programs can be adapted to the profile, orientation, and needs of each institution.
Brazil is home to a diverse and vibrant network of Jewish schools and institutions, from São Paulo to Rio Grande do Sul, from Rio de Janeiro to Minas Gerais and the Northeast. The Jewish Academy aims to be a bridge between this network and the best Jewish knowledge available today, both in the country and in the world.
About
The Jewish Academy is an educational initiative of the Israelite Congregation of São Paulo (CIP), created to make accessible the richness of more than five thousand years of Jewish knowledge and tradition. In partnership with the Tikvah Foundation, we bring together content produced by some of the leading figures in international Jewish thought.
Our program is organized around three pillars: Judaism (texts, philosophy, and practice), Israel and Zionism, and the History of the Jewish Nation. Courses are offered at different levels of depth, designed to reach people of all ages and levels of familiarity with the subject, whether in person or through digital platforms.
We believe that Jewish knowledge doesn't belong solely to books and libraries. It comes alive when it is shared, debated, and reinterpreted with each generation. The Jewish Academy exists to pave that path.
